Custom industrial applications, IIoT and OPC UA
Beyond the controller: the software that collects, connects and makes use of your production data.
Many installations already produce useful data — throughput, consumption, downtime, process parameters — that nobody can actually use. Lynthis builds the software layer that retrieves it, structures it and makes it readable.
Advanced industrial communication
We develop applications based on the OPC UA standard to guarantee reliable, secure and interoperable communication between your production equipment and your IT systems. This approach avoids proprietary gateways and keeps your architecture open.
IIoT and connected supervision
We implement connected solutions for remote monitoring of your equipment along with real-time data collection and analysis: production tracking, drift detection, automatic alerts and dashboards accessible from a browser. Exchanges rely on OPC UA, MQTT or REST interfaces depending on the architecture in place.
Multi-technology development
We build custom applications using a range of languages (C#, Python) and industrial databases (SQL, MySQL), with clear user interfaces and analysis modules matched to your indicators.
Common use cases
- Production data historisation and OEE calculation
- Gateway between controllers and ERP or MES, on the ISA-95 model
- Energy consumption tracking per line or per utility
- Multi-site supervision dashboards
- Automated production and traceability reports
Frequently asked questions
What does OPC UA add compared with conventional communication?
OPC UA is an open standard that lets equipment from different manufacturers talk to your IT systems securely and vendor-independently. It is the basis of an architecture that stays extensible and does not lock you in to one supplier.
Can older machines be connected to IIoT supervision?
Yes, in most cases. Depending on the equipment we use the existing protocol (Modbus, Profibus, IO-Link), a gateway, or minimal added instrumentation. The aim is to recover the useful data without replacing the machine.
Who owns the code that is developed?
Ownership and licensing terms are set in the contract before the assignment starts. We favour documented deliverables that you can operate and extend yourself.
